This class is for TEENS only (age 13-18).
In our weekly sewing classes, students learn lots of sewing skills and work through projects together with their classmates or projects of their own design. Students will have the choice of sewing along with their classmates or choosing their own unique projects to work on. Some students benefit from guided group instruction, and some thrive with more freedom--this class offers the best of both learning styles!
Classes are mixed age and skill level but are kept small (max. of 6) so that each student gets ample instruction, attention, and encouragement. This class is open to teens age 13-18. All are welcome in this space and are encouraged to be their truest selves.
Materials and equipment are included. If students would like to use materials we don't carry or have available in the shop, they will be responsible for providing such materials.
At checkout, *if you're new to Cut & Sew*, please include the following information in the "Notes" section:
- Your child's name, age, pronouns
- The name & age of an emergency contact & their cell number
- A bit about your child's sewing experience
Our weekly classes run throughout the academic school year and follow the school calendar of the School District of Philadelphia. Enrollment is by quarter:
