We've heard from SO MANY of you that you want to learn how to do alterations on your clothes!  Whether you want to make those storebought clothes fit a little better or make your thrift shop scores exactly what you dream they could be, this workshop will help you on your way!

There are many ways to alter garments and we couldn't possibly touch on all of them.  In this workshop, you'll bring 1-3 garments with you and our instructor, Sarabella, will help you choose which one to work on during your workshop.  She'll help you understand what needs to be done to reach your alterations goal and get you on your way to accomplishing it.  We're keeping this workshop enrollment limit super small (just 3!) so that each of you gets ample attention & instruction.  You'll also benefit by listening to Sarabella review the projects of your fellow students!

The goal of this workshop is to develop skills and methods in solving practical repairs or alterations for everyday wear. The three-hour workshop provides an
opportunity to learn the background on designs and construction processes with intermittent one-on-one guidance.

Some alterations ideas appropriate for this workshop include: shortening pants or sleeves, adding a pocket to a garment, making more or less room in a garment, etc.

Students are responsible for providing their garment(s) and all consumable materials (fabric, thread).  The studio will provide tools & equipment (scissors, sewing needles, machines).

If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to us at cutandsew.phl@gmail.com.

Minimum enrollment is two students so grab a friend!
