Dopp kit... Toiletries bag... Cosmetics pouch... whatever you call it, EVERYONE can use one! This is such a versatile, practical, and useful project to make--and especially to gift!
In this workshop, we're teaching you how to make a boxy zippered pouch with a useful little handle--we'll call it a Dopp kit. Depending on your goals (or who you might gift this to!) you could choose to use canvas, waxed canvas, quilting cotton, or even reusable grocery bags to make this project!
After you learn this pattern, don't be surprised if you want to make a special one for everyone on your holiday gift list! And lucky for you, it's a fairly quick make once you get the hang of it.
Materials List:
- 1/2 yd exterior fabric
(If you choose quilting cotton for the exterior, please also bring 1/2 yd of fusible fleece) - 1/2 yd lining fabric (quilting cottons work well for this)
- 14" zipper (or longer)
- All-purpose thread
