In our weekly hand sewing classes, students learn the very basics of sewing by hand. To introduce basic sewing concepts & movements, we'll start with materials like plastic mesh, yarn, felt, & embroidery floss to lay a foundation of helpful skills--and to complete cute projects that build confidence!
This class is for our 5-7 year old friends and we'll keep the group small (max. of 6) so that each student gets ample instruction, attention, and encouragement. All are welcome in this space and are encouraged to be their truest selves.
Materials and equipment are included.
Our weekly classes run throughout the academic school year and follow the school calendar of the School District of Philadelphia. Enrollment is by quarter:
