In our weekly sewing classes, students learn lots of sewing skills and work through projects together with their classmates or projects of their own design. Students will have the choice of sewing along with their classmates or choosing their own unique projects to work on. Some students benefit from guided group instruction, and some thrive with more freedom--this class offers the best of both learning styles!
Classes are mixed age and skill level but are kept small (max. of 6) so that each student gets ample instruction, attention, and encouragement. This class is open to all school-aged children (8-17). All are welcome in this space and are encouraged to be their truest selves.
Materials and equipment are included.
Our weekly classes run throughout the academic school year and follow the school calendar of the School District of Philadelphia. Enrollment is by quarter:
