Are you starting your sewing journey and daunted by patterns? - fear not! This workshop was designed to put your worries at ease and demystify the sewing pattern process. We review your pattern with you so that you can get your project kicked off with success! Topics include: how to find the size you need, what fabrics to use and how much you will need, and what all those strange symbols mean.
Each student will bring the pattern they are interested in working with and the instructor will walk through each one so that you will leave with a clear understanding of how to use the pattern - you might even learn some extra tips from other students' questions too!
Materials:
- The pattern you are interested in making (If you are stuck between a couple, feel free to bring them all and the instructor can help you decide which would be the most successful for your skill level.
- Optional: If you have fabric you were planning on using for the project and want to check and make sure it is appropriate for your intended use or have questions about it - we can address that also! Don’t worry if you don’t have fabric yet. We will thoroughly discuss fabrics and how to choose them when we meet.

- Level: Beginner-Intermediate
