Raise your hand if you've taken our Longarm Basics Class but it's been a looooong while and/or you're a little intimidated to try it out on your own? ✋ Ok great, this is for you!
We're starting off 2026 with a longarm support group, if you will! We want to welcome you back to the longarm, get you some more experience in a low-stakes setting with an experienced longarmer who can answer all those questions you have.
Let's introduce your longarm extraordinaire for the day: Leanne! Leanne has been one of our most prolific longarm renters over the last few years and has successfully longarmed lots and lots of quilts on this very machine! Check out these photos--all Leanne's work! In addition to longarming her own personal quilts, Leanne has also been very involved with Quilting for Good and has longarmed lots of quilt kits for Q4G.
Leanne volunteered to host a longarm support day to help make 2026 the year you get comfy on the longarm and (hopefully) become a longarmer for Quilting for Good! Bring your longarm questions & concerns and get your hands on the machine again with the encouraging support of someone who's been there-done that!
No need to bring your own quilt because we'll collaborate on some quilt kits we already have in-studio. Just sign up for your time slot, bring a list of Qs or frustrations you've faced, and come ready to get your hands back on the longarm! Each time slot is open to three people to get you ample time to practice but also to give you some time to observe and take notes.
