Nine Acres Cotton Quilt Batting is made from 100% U.S. long-staple cotton, carefully needled into a smooth, even, consistent batting.
Free from scrim, resins, and binders, it remains soft and breathable while allowing needles to glide easily. Quilting can be stitched up to 8 inches apart without compromising stability, yet remains soft even with detailed or dense stitching. Shrinkage is minimal, approximately 3% with cool wash and dry.
Our most versatile loft, Autumn Weight offers a comfortable balance of warmth without heaviness. Soft, supple, and beautifully draped, it’s an excellent choice for most quilts, crafts, and mid-loft wearables.Â
