Make your own quilt! Campers will be guided through all the steps to create their quilt: planning, cutting, stitching, piecing, basting, quilting, and binding! Each camper will have the opportunity to hand-stitch a hand-drawn label to add to their quilt. This camp is open to sewists of all experience levels. We'll work with each student and help them choose a pattern or technique that is appropriate for their skill level--there are infinite possibilities for amazing quilts, and we'll figure out the perfect one! More experienced sewists can even make a quilt to submit to QuiltCon 2025!
Monday - Friday
9am - 3pm
Ages: 8 - 17
Level: Beginner - Experienced
All sewing materials will be provided. Campers are welcome to bring their own fabric to use in their quilt tops. Reach out with any questions!
Students should bring a lunch, personal water bottle, and snack if needed. Weather permitting, we will get outside to the Mt Airy Playground for a lunch and movement break.
Our goal is to make our studio financially accessible to as many people as possible. We do this through our tiered pricing model.
If camp is sold out, email us at email@example.com to get on the wait list. All camps require at least 3 students to run.
