Summer Spool School is a series of classes offered throughout the Summer where students learn basic sewing skills and work through projects of their own design. Students can come with an idea of what they want to make, take a look through our books & patterns for inspiration and complete projects alongside their peers with guidance from of our instructor.
Classes are mixed age and skill level but are kept small (max. of 6) so that each student gets ample instruction, attention, and encouragement. All school-aged children (8-17) are welcome in this space and are encouraged to be their truest selves.
Summer Spool School will be offered June-August. We have designed this offering with the busy summer schedule in mind. Unlike our school-year Spool School, you don't need to worry about making a months-long weekly commitment over the summer.
All materials and equipment are provided.
Minimum enrollment per class: 2 students
At checkout, *if you're new to Cut & Sew*, please include the following information in the "Notes" section:
- Your child's name, age, pronouns
- The name & age of an emergency contact & their cell number
- A bit about your child's sewing experience
Our goal is to make our studio financially accessible to as many people as possible. We do this through our tiered pricing model.
