Join instructor Amanda Kosobud and make the Atlas Zipper Case by Center Street Quilts! Get organized with this fun project and take your sewing skills to the next level! We will cover topics such as basting, quilting, bias binding, working with vinyl, and two different techniques for installing a zipper. The Atlas Zipper Case is great for organizing your sewing supplies, travel essentials or any of your bits and bobs!
Supply List:
- Atlas Zipper Case Pattern by Center Street Quilts which you can purchase here. Please have the paper pattern pieces cut out and ready to go for class.
- 2 fat quarters (one for the main fabric, one for the accent fabric)**
- 0.5 yards of cotton quilting fabric for lining
- 0.5 yards of cotton quilting fabric for binding
- One 18"x 24" piece of foam stabilizer or quilting batting
- One 14" x 14" piece of fusible fleece
- One piece of 10" x 15" vinyl (12 or 16 gauge)
- One 30" Zipper (#5 or #4.5 handbag zipper or Nylon zipper by the yard)
- Three 10" Zippers (#3 craft Zippers or Nylon Zipper by the yard)
- A coordinating 50 weight spool of Polyester Thread
